Food Hygiene and Hydration
A half- or (preferably) one-day training session to give participants an understanding of the importance of good food & personal hygiene for people working within health & social care. Participants will look at the impact of poor hygiene and the effects cross-contamination can have on the health of those they care for. They will look at practical things they can do to improve food hygiene in the workplace, including leanring about the correct temperatures for food storage and preparation, as well as learning about current legislation surrounding food hygiene in the workplace.
People who work within the care sector in a variety of roles including: carers, nurses, cleaners, domiciliary carers, managers, chefs, kitchen assistants, domestics & office staff

Your own training room; we suggest 10.00am–4.30pm (9.30am–12.30pm or 1.30pm–4.30pm for half-days)
